Corinth
: The museum serves as the hub of historical information for the area. Learn about key moments in Corinth, Mississippi history. See fossils and American Indian artifacts first discovered in the area. Items representing the area’s industrial past include a Wurlitzer organ and brick molds and products patented by Berry Hydraulics.

 


Railroad
: Learn the importance of the downtown railroad crossing in Corinth history. See displays on depot and railroad industry history. The depot still houses an office of the Kansas City Southern Railroad. A bright red caboose sits on the museum grounds and is open to the public for tours during normal museum hours.

 


Civil War
: Learn about the major roles Corinth played in the Civil War. See Civil War relics ranging from soldiers’ personal items to weapons and models of Corona College and the Tishomingo Hotel.

 


Aviation: Learn about the important aviation events in Corinth's history. Aviation pioneer Roscoe Turner was born in Corinth and homed his aviation skills in city repair shops before becoming the first person to fly nonstop over the Atlantic Ocean.



Cola-Coca: On loan from Corinth Coca-Cola Bottling Works, see over 1,000 pieces of authentic Coca-Cola memorabilia, plus a large collection of old fashioned drink machines from years gone by.



Native son
: Born on March 16, 1932 in Corinth, Don Blasingame was a second basman in Major League Baseball who played with the St. Louis Cardinals and the Cincinnati Reds just to name a few. See a large selection of baseball and Blasingame memorabilia.



Traveling exhibits
: The museum also hosts temporary exhibits throughout the year featuring private collections, local artists, and travelling exhibits from the Mississippi Department of Archives and History, the Museum of Mississippi History and the Mississippi Museum of Art.
