Crossroads Museum Director
The Crossroads Museum Director reports directly to the museum's board of directors and provides
leadership and supervision for daily operations. The Director will work to ensure that the Museum is positioned for continued growth and providing valuable historical opportunities for Corinth and Alcorn County.
Essential Functions

Builds and maintains relationships between stakeholders and community members for the purpose of collaboration, operations and development.

Plans, coordinates and directs the operation of the Museum which includes carrying out policies and programs determined by the Board.

Utilizes traditional, print, social and other forms of new media to bring visitors to the Museum and to foster growth.

Collaborates with community partners to enhance the mission to bring the history of the Corinth and Alcorn County to the community.

Directs and oversees museum functions to include administration, curatorial, education, public relations, and auxiliary services following departmental guidelines to ensure a professional standard of operations to achieve contractual requirements and objectives.

Coordinates Museum related events (Ex. Green Market), fundraisers and occasional guest visits.

Advises leads regarding services, projects, programs, and financial and resource management.

Plan and manage the business and financial affairs of the Museum.

Ensure a safe and secure environment for the museum staff and visitors.
Required Skills

Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Ability to master PastPerfect software

Ability to develop and maintain community relationships
